Hudson Players Club was founded in 1948 to serve Hudson and the surrounding communities,
and is now the longest-running community theatre group in the province of Quebec.
Who we are?
The Hudson Players Club is a community theatre company presenting work in the beautiful town of Hudson, Quebec.
Our mandate is simple: foster an appreciation of theatre in our community, and develop the capacity to engage fully in the theatre experience.
The Hudson Players Club is so proud to be the longest-running, English-language theatre company in the province of Quebec.
A volunteer-based community organization, we are always seeking performers of all experience levels.
One of the reasons for our success is the continuing dedication of our members and community whose invaluable volunteering efforts and ongoing support have contributed to our organisations many accomplishments over the years.
Call for Directors
SPRING PRODUCTION 2016
Continuing the success of our last Spring production, the hilarious
British farce No Sex We’re British, Hudson Players Club are
looking for a director for their 2016 Spring production.
This year we are asking directors to submit an interest, together with their choice of play. All we ask is that the play has popular appeal, and with a “medium to large cast”, which will use as many of our members as possible. Thought must also be given to the venue, Hudson Village Theatre, which does not have a huge stage.
There will be an honorarium.
Performance dates are scheduled for April 3rd to April 16
(Rehearsal space has been booked at the Hudson Community Centre
from January 12th thru April 3rd)
Please submit your interest, together with a short bio and your play of choice by Friday September 30th.
A meeting with you and the executive will be scheduled for the 2nd week in October where you will be asked to pitch your choice.
The director will be chosen shortly afterwards.
